MedAmerica Retirement and Benefits Committee

Review Committee

The MedAmerica Retirement and Benefits Committee provides fiduciary guidance over all the plans administered by MedAmerica Financial Services.  The committee meets quarterly and performs the following duties:

  • Reviews investment performance and compares statistical data of each fund to insure compliance with investment policy
  • Amends all plans to comply with new federal regulations
  • Provides insight on other related programs like health plans, disability plans, and other benefit programs
  • Updates plans to maximize savings potential and reduce tax liability
  • Considers changes to the plans that are requested by the participants
